With two decades of experience across manufacturing, operations and manufacturing tech, Chris brings a practical, commercially minded approach to helping organisations improve efficiency and process control.
Starting his career as an apprentice machinist, mastering the art of tea making and carrying six cups at a time, before learning the skills required to machine tight tolerances in high nickel alloys. Working in multiple industries such as aerospace, oil & gas and medical devices, with experience in manufacturing engineering, quality and ultimately head of operations for a £20m multi-site cutting tool business.
More recently, he's worked in a commercial role for a tech start-up serving the manufacturing industry, using his skills in lean and change management to help others in similar operational leadership positions wanting to use tech to improve their manufacturing processes.
He has led complex change across multi-site operations, delivering measurable improvements in capacity, quality, and cost through structured process improvement, strong leadership, and data-driven decision-making. Chris is particularly skilled at aligning operational execution with customer value, enabling sustainable growth and long-term performance improvement.
